NO MORE FREEZER MESS

Meet FreezeFrame

FreezeFrame® bags are purpose-built for one thing: storing honeybee frames safely and cleanly. Slide a frame in, zip it shut, and store it in your freezer or dry storage. Perfectly sized for Langstroth frames, and tough enough to use year after year.
PEST PROTECTION
No more surprises when you open storage in spring — zip-lock seal keeps hive beetles, wax moths, and roaches out of your stored comb — in the freezer or on the shelf.
NO MORE MESS
Frames go in clean, come out clean — No more wax pieces and honey dripping down into your freezer. Best of all no more pests wondering around before everything freezes.
DESIGNED TO LAST
Made with extra thick 3.5ml polyethylene — heavy duty, reusable, and washable. No more cling wrap waste, no more garbage bags, no more improvising.

Cling wrap.

Garbage bags.

Sticky mess.

Most beekeepers store frames in whatever they can find — and end up with wax dripping everywhere, mystery frames, and pests getting through anyway.
  • Larvae escape & scatter in the freezer
  • Wax pieces & honey dripping
  • Frames not labeled, disorganized
  • Cling wrap or loose bags not air tight

Clean. Labeled.

Freeze ...kill pests without chemicals

Most beekeepers know to freeze frames to kill unseen wax moth and hive beetle eggs — but there's something else happening inside. As the frame gets cold, any existing larvae feel the temperature drop and try to escape. They crawl out of comb cells looking for warmth. Without an air tight bag, they will likely end up scattered all over your freezer. That's just nasty. That's what FreezeFrame prevents.
  • It takes about 48–72 hours at 0°F kills wax moth larvae, hive beetle eggs, and other comb pests.
  • Larvae escape cells as temperature drops — FreezeFrame bags contain them completely.
  • No chemicals, no treatments — just cold temperature and a properly sealed bag.
  • TIP: After freezing, open and allow the bags to vent excess moisture before sealing for dry storage — this helps prevent mold (blue mold mostly).
Every bag labeled. Every frame identified. No more digging through unmarked comb in February wondering what's what.

Organized Storage, Finally

Most beekeepers end up with frames stored in whatever they can find — plastic bins with wax dripping everywhere, garbage bags that tear, cling wrap that never seals. You can't see what's inside. You can't label anything that stays legible. And finding a specific frame?
  • Label with Sharpie — Write directly on the bag: Date, Hive ID, purpose.
  • Stack or stand — Lay flat in a chest freezer, stand upright in a regular freezer, or store dry in bins. Your space, your way.
  • See contents instantly — Clear poly shows exactly what's inside. No digging, no guessing, no opening mystery frames.
  • Stay organized — No dripping. No torn bags. No more storage chaos.

Protect... Your Most Valuable Asset

"Bees will consume 6-8 pounds of honey to draw out a single frame of comb — taking 3-7 days of focused work under ideal conditions."
The drawn comb in your frames represents serious investment. Lose that comb to wax moths or storage damage, and you're not just replacing a frame. You're asking your bees to rebuild what they already built.

The airtight zip-lock keeps wax moths, hive beetles, and roaches away from your valuable drawn-out comb during off-season storage.
  • Zip-lock seal rated airtight — wax moths cannot lay eggs through a sealed bag.
  • Garages, sheds, and basements — anywhere you store equipment off-season.
  • Stack neatly on shelves or in storage totes — keep everything nice and organized.
  • Double protection: freeze to kill existing eggs/larvae, then vent excess moisture, then seal for long-term storage.

Reuse ...season after season

Cling wrap is single-use, messy, and never really seals. Garbage bags are flimsy and attract pests. FreezeFrame bags are built to last — thick enough to wash and reuse multiple seasons. This section makes the cost-per-use case and positions FreezeFrame as the permanent solution, not another temporary workaround.
  • 3.5ml heavy-duty polyethylene — same material used in commercial food storage.
  • Wash with mild soap and hot water between seasons — air dry and reuse.
  • Zip-lock seal holds through multiple freeze/thaw cycles without losing its integrity.
  • One box of FreezeFrame bags vs. rolls of cling wrap purchased every single year.
